Power Gaming are definitely the team to beat at the moment, after winning yet another of the Esports Heaven Cups, this time the ROCCAT SDMS Cup against NCE.i3D in one map.

NCE.i3D came from the Lower Bracket after being beaten by aAa in the Upper Bracket Semi finals, but were able to beat the rest of the teams in the Lower Bracket. All of this took place last decade, in 2009, just before Christmas, but due to internet problems as well as the Christmas break, the game was delayed until today.

Power Gaming were definitely the favourites, not only because they just had to win one map, but also after their fairly comfortable win against SPEEDLINK in the PC World Esports Heaven Cup.

The game was played on Crash, with Power Gaming going on the easier side of defense first. However, due to a few issues of people constantly connecting to the server (the password was spread around irc quite quickly), they went 4-1 down. But once this was sorted Power were able to show their strength, and went on to win the half 7-5, clutching a few very important rounds in the process.

The second half was close again, but it was always going to Power's way. They won the second half 6-5, taking the score to 13-10 to Power Gaming. They will walk away with €250 and a lot of hardware thanks to ROCCAT. NCE.i3D will walk away with 5 Monitor bags thanks to ROCCAT as well.

UPDATE
H2kTV will be streaming the match Live at 21:00 CET! You can head over to H2kTV.com or click here

Power Gaming will face Next.i3D after they struggled through the brackets all the way to the finals. Power Gaming beat aAa to get into the finals and Next.i3D beat them in the lowerbracket to face them in the finals. Next.i3D will have to beat Power Gaming twice in order to claim the win however, coming from the losersbracket.

It will be a tough game and Power Gaming is once more in the finals for a major Call of Duty 4 tournament as their reign on Esports Heaven continues. Will Next.i3D make a dent in their record by claiming the win or will Power Gaming once more walk away victorious? Time will tell as the finals are currently scheduled for the 6th January.

All of the scores can be seen on the brackets.

To sum it up, two great teams come face to face in the Grand Final. The date has finally been confirmed as the 6th of January and will be kicking off at 21:00 CET.

Stay tuned!

Tonight we saw Power Gaming take on SPEEDLINK in a thrilling 2 map win.

SPEEDLINK choosing Backlot, many would have thought they would take the win, this proved to be wrong as Power Gaming took the win rather convincing 13-7.

Power Gaming on the other hand selected Crossfire, after taking the first map rather easy, could they carry that form into the new map? It certainly seemed that way as they brushed SPEEDLINK aside taking the win 13 to 5. Power Gaming seemed too powerfull, the question right now is... who can stop them?

The Final Standings..

1. Power Gaming
2. SPEEDLINK
3. i.QPAD

Congratulations to Power Gaming and thank you to all participants. Finally, a big thanks to PC World and AMD for making this possible.

We'll be back shortly so don't go anywhere!

Defeating RAGE and i.QPAD in the Quarter & Semi Finals, SPEEDLINK face once again, Power Gaming. Power Gaming seem to be dominating the recent cups but can they hold out against EPS Champions SPEEDLINK?

The final will be played in 2010, 3rd January 2010 to be exact. We are hoping for it to be streamed however we are still awaiting a response. If everything goes to plan, it'll kick off at 21:00 CET.

This will be the last sponsored tournament of 2009, there may well be some one night cups here and there.

We are currently upgrading the site with a brand new Cheating & Abuse system, this will come into full effect in 2010.

We are of course, taking in feedback and willing to listen to your opinions. We will be improving on the ruleset amongst other things.

For now, good luck and have fun to both teams and Happy New Year!
