Due to United Kingdom BrianPeppers and Sweden delirious being accepted into preinvite, they are no longer allowed to participate in the academy cup final. For this reason, we have given teams another chance to battle it out for the final 2 spots.

Although this is on short notice, the cup will be hosted on Thursday 10th June, with recent academy activity we expect this cup to fill up very fast. We will be looking at increasing the cup size if activity continues to grow.

The finals will now be played on Sunday 13th June. More information regarding the final will be made closer to the time.

As for the cup schedule, it'll be the same as Cup#4. Details below.

A well deserved Team Visualize came out on top in the Vita Nova cod.academy final against Team FuZion. Both teams put up a great fight with it coming down to several 2v2s, 3v3s. Backlot seemed to be a breeze with it being 13-7 however FuZion came back fighting strong, almost taking it to a 3rd map. Sadly it came to an end with the score being 13-11. I'm sure we'll see more of FuZion in the future, an upcoming team some would say.

Visualize lineup: RNLD, atom1k, dakkaz, hizor and Kagertjeh
FuZion lineup: Metal, minzer, ataRi, pronic and anton

Congratulations to Team Visualize and thank you to all participants!
